Terry's blog

So the snow finally has arrived.  I actually like snow but it is really going to mess up my practicing my form at home.  Neither one of them fits in the house aand I was loving practicing outside even if mitts were required.  Dean plowed the front very nicely and if we get a couple warms days with no more snow it might be possible again.  Yesterday morning I was sitting at the kitchen table with Mel and we got to watch the frost on the trees sparkle and softly sprinkle down to the ground.  Really beautiful!
Think I have my requirements defined for next year.  Some of it is things I never got to this year because Mel got sick and the whole summer was essentially spent in hospitals.  My long koon never saw much activity and I would really like to work on the six harmonies in that form.  It has so many different characteristics that I have yet to explore.  Thinking of going at it like Sifu Playter did on one of his hand forms and really analyze and break it down so I understand what is happening in each move so I can be more present in each moment.
